Vacation Stop at OLPS!

Theme: Living Water

Last February, a visiting priest from Norway, Father Sigurd Markusse, made a stop over at OLPS, in the midst of his vacation for a very special purpose - to celebrate OLPS's first Youth Mass of the year.

Standing tall at almost 1.9m, Father Sigurd shared with some 30-40 youths his story of how he finally accepted his priestly vocation, and expounded on the theme of the Mass, "living water".




He said, "Each time we bless ourselves with holy water before entering church, we remember the gift of living water at our baptisms... And thank God!"



At the end of the Mass and graciously, with all smiles, Fr. Sigurd mentioned that he would definitely like to come back again in a few years time. So we wait for that day to come again!
