PLEASURE: A Forbidden Fruit
East District Youth Event - 15 January 2011

The recent event "PLEASURE: A Forbidden Fruit" is over as of Saturday 15th January 2011 (QOP Church). We thank our speakers David Cheong, Longinus Dismus (Apostolate for Catholic Truth, ACT) and Sister Jennifer (Canossian sisters) for their lively engaging banter, and all participants who came!

We learnt a lot on how to view PLEASURE. The pleasures of the smallest things in our daily lives, can actually lead to holiness and God. We can find pleasure even in our studies.. even in things we did not like before - and amazingly that can bring out holiness in us! But negative use of pleasure lead us to crave for more and in the process, we harm ourselves, others, and move away from God.
